Open Gardens Day

Celebratory Window for All Saints Church.

A group of residents worked hard to construct a faux stained glass window for display in the church that celebrated the last 50 years of the village and its Open Gardens.

The window was designed and prepared by Moya Quinn a village friend from Hadleigh. Bit by bit under her guidance it came together but it  was not until all of the panels were assembled,  detailed and finally positioned that the completed art work could be appreciated.

Due to the nature of the installation the window will not be permanent as it is gradually fading but we hope it will still be in situ for the 2018 open gardens, even if a little paler.
